Radnicki has confirmed that six players have left the club at the end of the season.
As we earlier reported, Radomir Drasovic, an Olympic champion, has departed Kragujevac after a one-season stint to join Marseille.
The Kragujevac-based team has bid farewell to Filip Jankovic, who played 243 games for Radnicki over the past six seasons. Jankovic, a former Partizan player, served as Radnicki's captain for several seasons.
Defender Nemanja Stanojevic, 24, has also left the club. He joined Radnicki from Dubocica Leskovac at the age of 13 and has spent nine seasons with the senior team. Stanojevic is the record-holder for the most games played for Radnicki, with 312 matches and 318 goals, and he is now linked with Sabac.
Dusan Vasic, a Serbian player who competes for Georgia, was part of Radnicki's roster last season. Crvena Zvezda is interested in signing Vasic.
Left-handed attacker Lazar Vickovic, who played for Radnicki from 2023 to 2025, is set to move to Honved Budapest.
Marko Jankovic, who has played for Partizan, Crvena Zvezda, and clubs in Greece and Italy, joined Radnicki in 2023 alongside Vickovic, but he will also not remain with the club.
Radnicki announced that six players had left. But, actually, there have been seven departures, as Bogdan Gavrilovic, who has a contract with Radnicki, has moved on loan to Sabac.
In total, approximately 20 players have left Radnicki over the last two transfer windows. This includes several juniors who were on the extended roster but did not play many games in the previous two seasons.
To better illustrate the extent of the changes at Radnicki over the last 12 months, only three players who were regular members of the senior team in the 2023/24 season will continue to play for Radnicki in the next season —Georgia's Valiko Dadvani, the second goalkeeper, Stefan Todorovski, and the member of the Serbian U20 national team, Lazar Antic, will continue to play for Radnicki next season.
There were numerous departures as Radnicki had to make room for new players.
Radnicki shifted its direction last year when the club's budget significantly increased due to support from a new sponsor.
The club's ambitions soared, and many top water polo players joined the team, which is guided by the head coach of the Olympic champions, Uros Stevanovic.
The latest addition to the team is Angelos Vlachopoulos, who arrived a few days ago.
Previously, Andrija Prlainovic, Sava Randjelovic, Nikola Dedovic, and Viktor Rasovic made the move to Kragujevac. The list of newcomers may grow with the potential return of some younger players. For now, there are no further significant transfers anticipated. But, the transfer window is still open...
