Panathinaikos left without Olympic champion, Viktor Rasovic, but it has started building a new team for the new season in which it will play in the Euro Cup.
Reliable sources confirm that Montenegrin center-forward Dusan Banicevic left Jadran Split after winning the Croatian Championship and will be joining Panathinaikos.
Banicevic moved to Jadran Split last summer after previously playing for Jadran Herceg Novi, Sabadell, and Spandau 04.
He made his debut for Montenegro in 2020, won the World League in 2021, and participated in the Olympic Games that same year. He lost his place on the national team after 2022, but he was called up again this year and helped Montenegro finish in fifth place in the World Cup.
More than a month ago, Panathinaikos announced that it had signed Dimitrios Skoumpakis, who will finish his two-year spell at Novi Beograd after the F4 in Malta.
