Left-handed Russian goal-getter, Ivan Nagaev, signed a contract with Mladost Zagreb.
 The previous club he has played for was Valletta United in the 2025 Maltese Winter League. However, before going to Malta, he was a member of several excellent clubs and won trophies with all of them.
Nagaev played for Waspo 98 Hannover, Vasas and Jadran Herceg Novi. Last summer he moved from Jadran to Valletta. His most significant achievement was winning the Euro Cup with Vasas in 2023.
Mladost currently has two excellent left-handed players. Nagaev joined his fellow countryman, Konstantin Kharkov, who plays for the Croatian national team.
Before Ivan Nagaev, an experienced Croatian centre-forward, Luka Loncar, and some younger players reinforced Mladost.
The club is still looking for a new coach. The contract with Igor Milanovic, who took over the reins last autumn, wasn’t extended.
