Marko Radulovic, the MVP of the 2021 World Junior Championships, has returned to Primorje Rijeka, the club where he began his career.
Although he was born in 2001, Radulovic has already played for six different clubs. He left Primorje at the age of 17 in 2018 and moved to Serbia. His first stop was Vojvodina Novi Sad, after which he played for Sabac, Radnicki, and Novi Beograd.
Last summer, Radulovic departed from Novi Beograd, after winning the Serbian “double crown” and the Regional League, and moved to Italy, signing a contract with Posillipo Naples. However, due to an administrative error made by the club (a late registration), he debuted for the Naples-based team only in January. He helped Posillipo to secure 5th place in Serie A1 and qualify for the Conference Cup.
Several years ago, Radulović was granted Serbian citizenship. As part of the U20 national team, he won a gold medal at the 2021 World Championships in Prague, where he was named the tournament's MVP. He has also represented the senior national team at the European Championships twice (in 2022 and 2024), at two editions of the World Championships (in 2022 and 2023), and played in the World League and the World Cup
Primorje finished in 5th place in the Croatian League and qualified for the Conference Cup, as well as Radulovic's former club, Posillipo.
