Milos Maksimovic, a native Serb who has represented Australia since 2023, has left Galatasaray Istanbul and moved to Posillipo, which will represent Italy in a newly launched Conference Cup.
Maksimovic, 31, began playing water polo in Vojvodina, Novi Sad and played for this club for many seasons. He was also a member of the Serbian junior national teams. A few years ago, he joined the Cronulla Sharks from Sydney. During his stay in Australia, he became a citizen of this country. He made his debut for the “Sharks” in 2023. Last year, Maksimovic was part of the team that participated in the World Championships in Doha and played very well at the Paris Olympic Games, finishing in 8th place.
Recently, Maksimovic won the Turkish Championships with Galatasaray.
