Olympic champion Radomir Drasovic will join Marseille for the upcoming season.
Drasovic, 27, has played for Singidunum, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, Sport Management (Italy), Szolnok (Hungary), Novi Beograd, and Radnicki.
During his one-year stint at Radnicki, he won both the Serbian Championship and the Regional League. His most significant international achievements in club competitions are winning the Euro Cup with Szolnok in 2021, as well as earning two Champions League silver medals with Novi Beograd and a Euro Cup silver medal with Radnicki this year.
In 2022, Drasovic became a regular member of the Serbian senior national team, having made his debut several years prior.
He won the Olympic title at the 2024 Olympic Games and has also secured several medals at the World and European Championships during his junior and youth career.
Drasovic will replace Andrija Prlainovic, who left Marseille to join Radnicki next season. As of now, two players have confirmed their departure from Radnicki: Bogdan Gavrilovic, who has moved to Sabac. A few more players are expected to leave the Kragujevac-based team, as several new signings have been confirmed: Andrija Prlainovic, Sava Randjelovic, Nikola Dedovic, and Viktor Rasovic.
