Telimar Palermo has confirmed its first signing for the 2025/26 season. The Montenegrin player Uros Vucurovic, 24, will be joining the Sicilian club.
Vucurovic, a left-handed player, has played for Jadran Herceg Novi since the start of his career. He has won the Montenegrin Championship and Cup six times. In the current season, Jadran finished in 3rd place in the Regional League and is still competing for the title in the 2025 national championships.
He represented Montenegro at the 2022 World Championships in the World League and has earned three medals with the junior and youth national teams, including a gold and silver at the European Youth Championships and a bronze medal at the 2021 World U20 Championships.
Telimar Palermo concluded the regular season in the Italian League in 10th place and secured their spot in the 2025/26 Serie A1 through the relegation playoffs.
