One of the best Japanese players, Yusuke Inaba, joined Primorac Kotor.
The double Olympian played for the Italian club Ortigia in the past two seasons. His arrival in Kotor is his return to Montenegro. The 25-year-old attacker started his European career playing for Budva several years ago. After leaving Budva and before moving to Ortigia, Inaba played for the Romanian Oradea and the Italian teams Trieste and Iren Quinto Genova.
Inaba is Primorac's third confirmed signing this summer, after goalkeeper Dimitrije Risticevic and Stefan Vidovic.
Primorac has not yet officially announced the name of a new coach, who will replace Vjekoslav Paskovic. However, sources suggest that the club has reached an agreement with experienced Greek coach Anastasios Kechagias. Since last summer, he has been coaching both the Georgian national team and Dinamo Tbilisi. The Georgian League is still ongoing, so an official confirmation is expected in a few days after Dinamo completes its season. The Tbilisi-based team is currently close to securing a new national title.
As part of the agreement, Kechagias will continue to lead the Georgian national team until the end of the European Championships in Belgrade, which will take place in January. Throughout his long career, Kechagias has coached both junior and senior national teams in Greece, the male and female national teams of Romania, the Australian women's national team, several Greek clubs, Gzira in Egypt, etc. Before arriving in Georgia, he coached Spandau Berlin for a season and a half (2022 - 2023).
