Last week, the Greek Men’s League was in the shadow of two womenโs LEN competitions held in Athens (The LEN Trophy final and the LEN Euro League Final 4), although eight games were played.
The regular season in the menโs Greek Championships ended. The playoffs will start in a few days.
The four teams ranked 1st-4th (Olympiacos, Vouliagmeni, Panionios and Apollon) advanced to the quarterfinals directly. Eight clubs (5th โ 12th place) will continue the season in the eighth-finals.

Group 1

Panionios โ Olympiacos 8:13 (0:3, 3:4, 2:4, 3:2)
There were no surprises in the last round. The favorites โ Olympiacos and Vouliagmeni โ recorded away wins. Both teams had secured 1st and 2nd place respectively before the final round. Panionios finished the season in 3rd, and Apollon in 4th place.

Very exciting games closed the group for the places 5th-8th. Ydraikos made a comeback in the final quarter to beat Peristeri and cement 5th position, so it will have the easiest task in the eighth-finals. Ydraikos will open the playoffs with a game against Panathinaikos.

The four losers of the duels in the eighth finals and the teams ranked 14th – 16th (Chios, Palaio Faliro, Aris) will play in the relegation playoffs.
