After a new break that lasted more than three weeks, the Greek League restarted again with the matches of Day 7.
Since the clubs have had two long pauses since November, the Greek Federation was forced to make a new competition formula.
The regular season has been halved and will be finished after the 13th round (the return rounds 14 – 26 have been canceled). The regular season is planned to be ended by the middle of April. The top six teams will qualify for the playoffs. The first-placed and the second-placed will advance to the semifinals directly, while the clubs placed 3rd-6th will play in the quarterfinals. No team will be relegated to the A2 League.

Olympiacos defeated last-placed Etnikos easily – 18:4. Max Irving led the winners with three goals.
Apollon Smyrnis started slowly, but it convincingly defeated Panionios (13:8) in one of the derbies of the tound. Montenegrin Nikola Moskov, who scored six goals, was the man of the match. Alexandros Gounas added four.
Palaio Faliro edged out PAOK – 7:6. PAOK, which played with 11 players in Athens, started better and led 1:0 after the first period. But, the hosts took control in the second quarter and went 7:3 up early in the fourth. The visitors just reduced the gap in the remaining time. Two players scored almost all of the goals. American Johnny Hooper contributed to Palaio’s win with five goals, Serb Filip Radojevic scored four for PAOK.
AEK and Ydraikos shared the points. The visitors from the island of Ydra played without its foreigners (Frolov, Statsenko) had a nice 5:3 advantage before the final quarter. AEK tightened its defense in the final eight minutes, didn’t let a single goal. Montenegrin Nikola Vukcevic scored for 4:5 in the 29th minute. He secured a point for AEK (5:5) with his third goal 47 seconds before the end.
Chios defeated Glyfada in an even contest (8:7) and climbed into 9th place.
Volos – PAOK 6:13 (0:4, 4:3, 1:1, 1:5)
A day after the narrow loss to Palaio Faliro, PAOK faced Volos on the return trip to Thessaloniki and achieved a comfortable 13:6 victory.
