Spanish defender Sergi Cabanas left Sabadell two years ago to move to Jug Dubrovnik.
It appears that he will head in the opposite direction this summer. Sources indicate that Cabanas will join Sabadell for the next season.
Cabanas (29) played for Sabadell between 2014 and 2023.
He has been a regular member of the Spanish national team for more than seven years.
This year, he won the gold medal with Spain in the World Cup in Podgorica. It was Cabanas’ fourth gold medal, won as a national team member, following the titles at the 2022 World Championships, the 2023 World Cup, and the 2024 European Championships. Some of the highlights of his career include silver medals at the 2019 World Championships and the 2018 European Championships and several bronze medals at big competitions.
