Felipe Perrone, the Total Player of 2018, remains one of the greatest figures in modern water polo. As the captain of both the Spanish national team and CNAB, Perrone continues to lead by example, combining unmatched skill and leadership.
This season, he guided Spain to European gold in Zagreb and World Championship bronze in Doha—adding more accolades to an already extraordinary career. However, we are certain Perrone would trade both of those medals for the one that has eluded him so far: an Olympic gold.
With a career filled with remarkable achievements, Felipe Perrone’s legacy is already secure, but the dream of Olympic success keeps him as hungry and determined as ever. We are honored to have such a legendary player as part of our Expert Jury once again.
Here is his Total 7:
Goalkeeper: Marko Bijac (Croatia)
Central defender: Nikola Jaksic (Serbia)
Centre forward: Ben Hallock (USA)
Right side 1: Dusan Mandic (Serbia) – MVP
Right side 2: Andrea Fondelli (Italy)
Left side 1: Denes Varga (Hungary)
Left side 2: Loren Fatovic (Croatia)
