Waspo Hannover and Spandau easily collected points in the 11th round of the German League, while ASC Duisburg bounced back from a rocky start to defeat White Sharks.
League leader Waspo 98 Hannover continued its dominant run with a 32:4 win against underdog Diusburger. Lucas Kuppers was outstanding, scoring seven goals.
Spandau 04 cruised to an 18:6 victory over OSC Potsdam. Aleks Sekulic and Ivan Vukojevic each scored four goals.
ASC Duisburg overcame troubles in a match against White Sharks in Hannover. The first quarter belonged to the home team – 5:1. ASC Duisburg responded with a strong second and third quarter, scoring eight consecutive goals. Still, the contest wasn’t over yet. White Sharks closed the gap midway through the fourth quarter (8:9). ASC Duisburg retook control in time and recorded a 12:9 victory, with 20-year-old Ellies Metten (ASC) emerging as the top scorer with four goals.
