On the Day 4, China continued its winning streak and Japan had a clean slate against Hong Kong. In Group A, Kazakhstan celebrated after defeating Iran 9:5.
As expected, China had an easy win against Saudi Arabia (17:5) and Japan’s clean endless streak stopped at 23:0.
There is only one more day left in the tournament. The tightest situation is currently in the Group B, where Japan and China are sharing the first spot.
Since China already played four games, they’ll rest on pins and needles tomorrow since Japan will take the first place if they defeat Saudi Arabia.
