Asian Games, Women’s Tournament begun today with Japan dominating over Indonesia. Six national teams got together in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will play for six days.
This is the third time Asian national women national teams will meet on this tournament. The first competition was held in 2010 in Guangzhou, and the second one in 2014 in Incheon. China won both the tournaments.
This year, the competition will be played from 16th to 21st of August. The Men’s tournament starts on 25th of August.
Japan and Indonesia opened the tournament, and Japan carried the victory with ease. Thailand vs Hong Kong followed, and the day was concealed by the clash between China and Kazhastan.
