[ASIAN GAMES 2018] Women's Tournament, Day 2 — Host Indonesia Beats Hong Kong in Close Match

Day Two of the Women’s Tournament on the Asian Games saw a tight match between Indonesia and Hong Kong as the first match. Later Kazakhstan dominated over Thailand, and the day was concluded with China winning against Japan.

Host Indonesia took the spotlight in today’s matches. It was a fierce fight throughout the quarters as Hong Kong took the starting advantage and held it all the way to the fourth quarter.

The host, cheered by the audience, pushed hard in the fourth quarter. Eventually, they managed to equalize the score to 8:8. A sudden downfall discouraged the Hong Kong team and it was only a matter of time when will Indonesia take the lead. It happened at the last minute when Ariel Dyah concluded the game.

The other two matches played out in a slightly calmer manner. Kazakhstan dominated over Thailand with 13:4, and China glided through the quarters against Japan, holding the lead the entire match. See the results and standings!
