A series of high-grade matches were played yesterday in Hungary. There were entertaining games in both groups, resulting in a more balanced standingΒ on the top-end of the scores.
Group A
Even after the match against Dynamo Moscow, Eger managed to play a great game against PVSK. By the end of the second quarter, they led the scoreboard with 6:1 thanks to their great defense and extraordinary attacks. FTC dominated AVUS with 16:6 and Racionet played close to KSI until third quarter where they wiped their opponents.
Group B
Szolnok and Kaposvar opened the third leg of the League. Throughout the quarters, it was a stroll in the park for Szolnok, resulting in 13:2.
JΓ³zsef Sike’s boys hosted the match against UVSE, taking a decisive lead in the first quarter (5:0). The rest of the match went smoothly, with only the last quarter equalized by UVSE. In the end, it was a clear victory for MiskolciΒ with 14:7.
Debreceni celebrated with a huge battle againstΒ Vasas. The proof of the team’s strength laid in the first and last quarter when the score was tight and the winner unclear (4:4; 4:4). The middle of the match decided Debreceni’s domination when they bested their opponents by three goals.
OSC surpassed TatabΓ‘nya with 14-3, and thanks to its success, like Szolnok and Miskolc, they balanced group B.
