The first phase of the regular season in the Spanish League has been completed with the matches of the 10th round.
Title-holder Barceloneta is the only team that finished this phase with ten wins in as many games.
The highlights of the 10th round were two derbies. In Group A, Terrassa edged out Barcelona 12:11. Barceloneta achieved a comfortable 11:6 victory over Sabadell in Group B.

Just ten days ago, Barcelona defeated Terrassa 12:11 in the postponed game of the 5th round. Terrassa took revenge for that loss. In the same manner. The result was the same as 10 days ago, but Terrassa took the points this weekend.

Pere Estrany equalized immediately after Terrassa’s 11th goal, but Oscar Carillo Gemar beat the buzzer. He found the net in the last second, and Terrassa recorded a 12:11 victory.
Mediterrani beat Sant Feliu to cement 3rd place.
Catalunya defeated Real Canoe thanks to an advantage earned in the opening minutes. After less than six minutes, Catalunya built a 4:0 lead. Real Canoe managed to reduce the gap to one (5:6) in the third period. But, Catalunya earned an 8:5 advantage in the early stage of the fourth quarter and controlled the match until the end.

Barceloneta quickly killed all the suspense in the derby of group B against Sabadell. The Spanish champion rushed to a 4:0 lead (5th minute), and from that point on, the difference between the sides was always three goals or more. Sabadell recovered from the opening shock, and the second and third quarter saw a balanced battle, but the visitors didn’t endanger Barceloneta’s advantage. The hosts closed the match with two goals in the final quarter for a comfortable 11:6 win. Sabadell’s center-forward Nemanja Ubovic was the best scorer with four goals.
Mataro easily beat Tenerife. Sant Andreu narrowly defeated Navarra, in the match that wasn’t important, because these two teams won’t play in the same group of the 2nd phase
