Favourites made no mistake in the second round of the Spanish Liga Premaat. Barceloneta, Terrassa, Mataro recorded away wins, while Barcelona trashed Catalunya.

Sabadell opened the match against Barceloneta pretty well and built a 3:1 advantage deep into the 1st period. But, the reigning champions produced a 4:0 series by the end of the 2nd quarter and entered the second half of the match with a 5:3 lead, while they added one goal soon after the middle break to go 6:3 up. Sabadell couldn’t come back after that. Barceloneta, led by Milan Aleksic and Alberto Munnariz (3 goals each) recorded an 11:6 win.

Barcelona left no chance to Catalunya. Playing excellently in defence, Barceloneta cruised to a 13:2 victory.

Terrassa had a successful rehearsal for its debut in the Champions League, by defeating Sant Andreu 9:6.

Mediterrani beat Real Canoe. The teams were running neck and neck in the first two periods. At halftime, the score was 5:5. Mediterrani broke the opponent in the second half for a 12:9 victory.
