Tourcoing and Noisy continue winning

Three games were played in France this weekend. Douai defeated Nice 12:11, while Tourcoing and Noisy-le-Sec continued their winning streaks with away victories.

Douai – Nice 12:11 (3:3, 2:3, 5:1, 2:4)

Third-placed Tourcoing visited Reims. Tourcoing broke the rival in the fourth quarter.At halftime, Tourcoing led 6:4, while Reims managed to level the score twice during the third period (6:6, 7:7). Before the final quarter , Tourcoing had a slim advantage – 10:9. In the fourth period, the visitors regained a two-goal lead (11:9) and kept the distance until the end.

Noisy-le-Sec beat last-placed Sete, which controlled the game in the first half. After the second period, the hosts had a 2-goal advantage (8:6), but the Parisiens produced a 5:1 run in the third quarter. That proved crucial for the outcome. The visitors earned the points with a 13:11 victory.

Something similar happened in the encounter between Douai and Nice. The third quarter was decisive. Nice led 6:5 at halftime. But, after the middle break, Douai scored four goals in four minutes and went 9:6 up. The hosts maintained a 3-goal advantage until the middle of the last quarter (12:9). 81 seconds before the end, Nice reduced the gap (11:12), but it wasn’t able to equalize.
