Visiting teams recorded wins in most of the matches of the Spanish Leagueβs this weekend.
The ninth round was played this weekend, and one derby was held a few days earlier.
Barcelona emerged as a winner of the week, as it recorded two wins in two derbies in a row and kept the perfect record in Group A.

Barcelona continued its winning streak with two victories in the derby matches. On Wednesday, Barcelona edged Terrassa 12:11 in the postponed game of Day 5. After a big battle, Adria Delgado scored a winner for the final score two minutes before the end.
Mediterrani and Barcelona faced in the big match of the day. Mediterrani started better, and it led 1:0, 3:1, and 4:2 in the opening minutes. Mediterrani scored its 4th goal in the 12th minute. After that, Barcelona tightened its defense and kept the hosts goalless for 17 minutes, while they scored five goals in a row and jumped to a 7:4 lead before the final eight minutes. Mediterrani couldnβt recover from that shock.
Terrassa defeated Cataunya 13:8. Catalunya kept up with the favorites for more than two quarters. Three and a half minutes before the last break, Catalunya trailed by a goal (6:7). However, by the middle of the final quarter, Terrassa produced a 5:0 series. Three minutes before the end, they earned a safe 12:6 lead.
Barcelona will host Terrassa again in the 10th round. Barcelona needs a point to remain atop the group. But, this match won’t be only the battle for 1st place. The result will be carried to the second part of the regular season. The results of the encounters between the teams which played in the same group of the first stage will be carried to the second stage.
Real Canoe beat Sant Feliu and kept minimal chances to reach 3rd place in the group and to take a ticket to the Group for places 1st-6th in the second part of the season. Besides Real, Catalunya and Mediterrani are in the race for the last remaining tickets. In the last, 10th round, Real will host Catalunya, while Mediterrani will play against Sant Feliu, which hasnβt won a single point so far.

Barceloneta and Sabadell easily defeated Mataro and Sant Andreu. Barceloneta will host Sabadell in the 10th round.
Echeyde Tenerife recorded the first win in the season. They hosted Navarra. The visitors had a slim 8:7 advantage at halftime. Tenerife, led by its coach and best scorer Albert Espanol, dominated in the second half and recorded a 12:9 victory.
