In the first match of the weekend, GZC Donk played against ZPB H&L Productions. It wasn’t an easy win for the leader. However, GZC controlled the game and, led by Jorn Winkelhorst, posted a 14:10 victory.

A day after, GZC visited Nijverdal to play against Het Ravijn. The home team is the reigning champion, but it hasn’t shined since the start of the season and currently is in the lower half of the standings. GZC opened the match with a 5:1 lead. Het Ravijn cut the deficit to one in the second quarter (4:5). By the end of the first half, GZC doubled its advantage (6:4). The leader kept a 2-goal advantage in a balanced second half for a 12:10 win.

Polar Bears cruised to a 15:7 victory over PSV. At halftime, Polar Bears led 10:1 and everything was decided.

AZC Alphen wasn’t so convincing in the match against ZVL-1886 Center. It recorded an 11:8 victory. Still, it wasn’t an exciting game. AZC dominated in the first two quarters. It entered the second half with a 7:1 lead. The visitors went to 8:1 early in the third quarter and slowed after that, but their victory wasn’t in danger.

Before welcoming GZC, Het Ravijn played an away match against 11th-placed De Ham. The game was a neck-and-neck race. Still, Het Ravijn was close to a win. The visitors, whose power engine was Bas ter Brake (six goals), led 10:9 at the finish of the encounter. But, De Ham’s Vant Veer scored from a penalty with four seconds to go – the home side earned a point – 10:10 and surprised the favorite.
UZSC demolished De Linge/PCG in the Utrecht derby. UZSC recorded a 20:5 victory to recover from a shocking 8:9 loss to PSV suffered seven days before.

An encounter between ZV De Zaan and ZPC Amersfoort was a scoring festival. ZV De Zaan, the favorite in this match, had a 10:7 lead at halftime. After the middle break, ZV De Zaan consolidated its defense. At the same time, the attack continued working well, so the favorite beat the rival by ten goals – 21:11.
