Saturday was the fourth round in the Dutch league. Because Het Ravijn lost to ZPC Amersfoort, ZV De Zaan is now on top solo.

ZV De Zaan played against De Ham and won relatively easily. After the first period it was already 1-5. After that, De Ham kept the visitors reasonably under control, although Thomas Lucas was in good shape with seven goals. Het Ravijn surprisingly lost to ZPC Amersfoort. Zeno Reuten’s team lost with 12-8. At the start of the second period, the home team took a small lead and Het Ravijn was unable to close that gap in the rest of the match. AZC won big against PSV. At home it became 17-4.

Polar Bears only played the first game of the season. SVH was well beaten: 9-24. SVH is still at zero points. ZPB is also still waiting for its first points. On Saturday, ZVL-1886 was too strong for the team from Barendrecht (6-12). Water polo Den Haag has not won this season either. In Borculo they lost with 15-10.

Only two games for the women. De Ham won 12-10 against the still incomplete Polar Bears. It was the first victory for the team from Krommenie, which immediately left the last place in the ranking. GZC Donk easily won against PSV. The team from Gouda won 19-7 and moved up to the fourth place in the ranking.
