Honved, UVSE, and Miskolc recorded wins in three postponed matches of the Hungarian League played yesterday and today.

UVSE controlled the match against Szentes, but the visitors were coming back from time to time. Early in the third period, UVSE led 6:2. But, Szentes scored four goals within two minutes and 46 seconds to equalize – 6:6. UVSE responded with three goals and jumped to a 9:6 lead which proved vital for their win. Szentes’ eighth goal came too late – 27 seconds from the end.
Szeged suffered two convincing losses in two days. The team from Szeged played with a lot of young players because several “A” team members have been recovering from coronavirus.
On Friday, Miskolc beat Szeged 17:6 in the match of the 7th round, with six goals from Marton Magyar.
Honved showed no mercy to the young team of Szeged today. Led by a 19-year-old Gergely Molnar (6 goals), the former European blew away Szeged 20:2. The 15-year-old twins Lorand and Benedek Molnar scored goals for Szeged.
Today’s matches in Budapest were marked by players with the surname Molnar. The best scorer of the game UVSE – Szentes was UVSE’s Erik Molnar, with three goals.
