The Montenegrin League has continued today. Jadran Herceg Novi demolished Budva 14:5 in the postponed match of Day 4
The competition formula has been changed. It was planned that the regular season consists of 12 rounds (a quadruple round-robin system). But, the Federation decided to shorten the season because of the national team’s packed calendar. The league will be ended with the 6th round. After that, all four teams will advance to the playoffs.
Most of the matches of the regular season have already been played. Only two games are remaining, Cattaro- Jadran, and Jadran-Primorac. These games were postponed, as well as the encounter between Budva and Jadran because rounds 4 – 6 were played in the second half of December, at the time when Jadran competed in the Champions League.
