The series of the incomplete competition days of the Hungarian League has been continued.
Four games of the 6th round were played today, while four matches have been postponed.
Two matches offered a lot of thrills and were ended with no winners. UVSE and PVSK shared the points (8:8) in Budapest. There was no winner in the match Szentes – Eger (7:7), too.
Szolnok and BVSC recorded big wins.
One game wasn’t held because of the coronavirus cases at Miskolc (Miskolc – Ferencvaros). The players of OSC Budapest came out of quarantine and healed. But the club asked for the postponement of the match against Debrecen because the team hasn’t had enough training to prepare for the match. The Hungarian Water Polo Federation (MVLSZ) accepted OSC’s request. The Federation also permitted the deferment of the game Honved – Vasas. Vasas asked the postponement. The club announced that they had asked for the postponement to prepare properly for the Final Four of the Hungarian Cup in Budapest (September, 26 – 27).
As things stand now, OSC will also be ready to play at the Final Four (pairings for the semifinals: OSC – Szolnok, Ferencvaros – Vasas).
The game KSI – Kaposvar is postponed, but these two teams met each other today in the game for the 13th place in the Hungarian Cup. Kaposvar won 17:12.
