World Men’s Junior Water Polo Championships Belgrade 2017 – Tournament Schedule

They are young, they are hungry and they are fired up – less than a week after the spectacular Water Polo World Championships in Budapest, the future of water polo presents itself in Belgrade, Serbia, at the 19th FINA World Men’s Junior Water Polo Championships. From the 5th to the 13th of August the most promising youngsters from 20 countries will go face to face in the Sports Center Milan Gale Muškatirović.

All participating nations are divided into 4 groups, with every single team eager for  the throne. As we were able to see in the preparation games leading up to the Junior Water Polo World Championships, quality is high and it is impossible to predict which team will go all the way.
Just as their senior counterparts, the young Serbian’s enter the tournament holding the title they won two years ago in Almaty – will they be able to defend the gold, or will we have a new title holder? The Junior Water Polo World Championships start on the 5th of August, concluding with the grand final on August 13th. All games are played at the Sports Center Milan Gale Muškatirović.
