From that point, an exchange of goals started. Szolnok was earning a 1-goal lead, but OSC leveled the score on each occasion until 8:8. Balazs Erdelyi converted a man-up and OSC took the lead for the second time (9:8), but not for long.

Six goals were scored in the last 03:06 minutes of the third quarter. But, OSC managed to find the net just once in these 186 seconds. Szolnok produced a 5:1 series. Firstly, Szolnok scored three goals in 96 seconds and earned a 2-goal advantage (11:9).
