Parades and Fluvial share points after big battle

The 15th round of the Portuguese League offered a lot of excitement. Two games were decided by a single goal, while one match ended with no winner.

The big game of the day was an encounter between 2nd-placed Parades and Fluvial, which is in the 3rd place of the table. Parades, the home team, had a 6:2 advantage at halftime. Before the fourth period, Parades was still ahead (9:7), but Fluvial earned a point. The match ended in a 10:10 draw.

Povoense edged out Cascais – 15:14. After the third period, Povoense led 12:9. Cascais started climbing back in the final four minutes, but it didn’t manage to equalize and Povoense kept the win.

Sporting defeated Pacense 11:10. The first half of the match was crucial for the outcome. Sporting had a 5:2 lead before the third quarter. The hosts maintained a 3-goal gap until the last break (9:6). The last quarter belonged to Pacense (4:2), but Sporting recorded a narrow 11:10 victory and caught Pacense in points.
