The most interesting match of the 4th round of the Spanish championships was a clash of Tenerife and Catalunya. The game was played in Tenerife. The home team was very close to its first win in the season, but Catalunya came out as a winner, after a thrilling finish.

The 4th round was opened by an encounter between Terrassa and Mediterrani. Terrasa controlled the match from the beginning. The visitors entered the last period with a 10:6 advantage. They added one goal in the 2nd minute of the 4th period for 11:6. After that, they let Mediterrani reduce the gap.
The match Tenerife – Catalunya had a lot of twists and turns. Catalunya secured three points with a last-gasp goal. Home team Tenerife had an 8:7 lead four minutes before the end. Catalunya responded with two goals and went ahead – 9:8. The hosts equalised with 01:57 minutes remaining on the clock. But, Pol Prat Esteba scored a decisive goal for Catalunya’s 10:9 victory just 20 seconds before the final buzzer.
Sabadell broke Mataro in the middle of the game. Early n the second period, Mataro trailed 3:4. Then Sabadell produced a 5:0 rush for a 9:3 advantage in the 23rd minute. Mataro couldn’t come back (10:7).
Sant Andreu defeated Navarra. After the third period, the score was 7:7. Sant Andreu dominated the last eight minutes and recorded a 10:7 victory.
The last match of the round was played on 22 October. Barceloneta defeated Real Canoe easily 16:5
