Two former European champions – Szolnok and Honved – faced off in the derby of the 7th round of the Hungarian League. However, the game lacked excitement. Szolnok, the reigning Hungarian champion, proved that it was a favorite and recorded a 16:10 victory.
Ferencvaros, Vasas and OSC kept winning as well as Szolnok. These sides are still unbeaten.

Szolnok took a flying start to a game against Honved. The title-holder earned a 4:0 lead in the first five minutes of the game. Honved reduced the gap to two (2:4) early in the second quarter, but Szolnok responded with four goals within two and a half minutes. The hosts had an 8:2 advantage in the middle of the second period. Honved didn’t recover from the opening shock. The second half saw an equal battle, but Szolnok’s victory wasn’t in danger. Danial Angyal was the best scorer in the match. He added four goals to his tally and keeps first place in the list of the best scorers of the League (25 goals).
OSC Budapest defeated PVSK in Pecs 12:7. Still, it wasn’t an easy win. The hosts kept up with the favorite from the capital for more than two quarters. OSC opened the match with a 4:1 lead, but the difference was just a goal at halftime (OSC led 6:5). In the middle of the third period, the score was 6:7. The visitors took control after that and earned all three points.
Vasas led 5:1 in the middle of the second period of the match against UVSE, but the hosts didn’t surrender and halved the distance (3:5) in the 17th minute. However, UVSE couldn’t find the net in the remaining 15 minutes, while Vasas scored eight goals for a 13:3 victory.
Ferencvaros had the same recipe for a win as in the previous few games. The “green-whites” stunned Miskolc with a 7:0 lead in the opening minutes and there was no way back for the visitors, who scored their first goal only 19 seconds before the first break
Kaposvar produced the biggest comeback of the day. Kaposvar hosted Szeged, which played well in the first half. However, Kaposvar came from 3:6 down (18th minute) and beat the rival 10:8.
BVSC stormed past Eger. The Budapest-based side dictated the pace from the beginning, but only two goals separated the rivals midway through the second period (3:5). Between the 13th and the 20th minute, BVSC scored six goals in a row, it jumped to an 11:3 lead and that was the end of the contest.
