Honved hosted Ferencvaros in the derby of Day 28. The match was a derby but Ferencvaros was the strong favorite, and it proved that in the opening minutes. In the 6th minute, the visitors had a 4:1 lead. But, after that, Honved tightened its defense and held Ferencvaros scoreless for almost 15 minutes. The hosts made a 3:0 run and equalized in the middle of the third period (4:4). Shortly after, Gergo Zalanki broke Ferencvaros’ silence and scored for 4:5. The titleholder found its rhythm and earned a significant 9:5 advantage before the final quarter. Denes Varga opened the fourth period with an action goal for 10:5 and the visitors controlled the match until the end.

Szolnok started slowly in the match against Eger. The visitors had a slim advantage (1:0, 2:1, 3:2) in the opening minutes. Szolnok scored three quick goals within two minutes and turned around the deficit to a 5:3 lead. Still, Eger scored the last goal in the first period (4:5). But, Szolnok knocked down Eger with six straight goals in the second quarter. They added one in the first minute of the third quarter for 12:4. The hosts reduced the gap to two in the middle of this quarter (6:12). However, Szolnok retook control and, led by Filip Filipovic, cruised to a 23:6 victory.

OSC broke PVSK in the first half. The Budapest-based team opened the match with a 9:0 blast and there was no way back for PVSK.

An excellent defensive play was key for Vasas’ victory over Miskolc. At halftime, Vasas led 3:2. The visitors dictated the pace in the second half. By the middle of the fourth quarter, they built an 8:2 advantage to secure the win.
