Triglav Regional League — Third Leg Skyrockets HAVK Mladost and Jadran Split to Top

The third leg of the Triglav Regional A1 League saw Mladost and Jadran Split continue their ascend. Partizan won their first match and Jug dominated over Jadran Carine.

It’s been a hard comeback for Jug CO since their last grand loss against HAVK Mladost, but with 14:7 against Jadran Carine, they’re back in the game. Kobepćak’s team continually led the match by two or three points, carrying an easy win at the end. As for the players, Fatović led from Jug’s side with four goals, followed by Lozina’s three.

Similar to the last weekend, HAVK Mladost carried the spotlight of the entire leg. Until the end of the second quarter, Mladost led by eight goals, showing the rest of the League one of the best defenses seen so far — led by Marcelić. Since that moment, the match only got fiercer, resulting in 19:3.

Partizan won their first match against POŠK. Stefan Ćirić’s team took over the game in first three minutes, leading with two goals (Aleksandar Andrejević and Nikola Radonjić). Until the halftime, the players from Split managed to equalize, but it only lasted until Gadamasi and Mitrović turned the score back to Partizan’s favor. In the end, Partizan celebrated with 7:6.

Jadran Split had an astonishing score against Crvena Zvezda, winning the match by six goals. It started with a tight score, both teams playing on the edge, but after in the third quarter Jadran slowly took over, then finishing it in the final quarter.

  • Jadran Split – Crvena Zvezda 11:5 (3:1, 2:2, 2:1, 4:1)
  • HAVK Mladost – Šabac 19:3 (5:0, 5:1, 3:2, 6:0)
  • Jadran Carine – Jug 7:14 (1:3, 2:3, 3:1, 1:7)
  • Mornar – Primorac 8:6 (1:1, 2:3, 3:1, 2:1)
