KSI – Miskolc canceled

The league leader was too strong for Honved, while OSC, Ferencvaros, and Vasas also recorded wins with ease.

The 5th-placed BVSC didn’t display good defensive play, but it convincingly defeated Kaposvari. BVSC led from the beginning of the match. The visitors earned a 5-goal lead in the third period (13:8) and everything was decided.

The young team of UVSE defeated Eger 13:9 and climbed to 7th place, just behind Eger. Now, just a point separates these two teams. The first quarter belonged to Eger (3:1). After the first break, UVSE, led by Vince Vigvari started climbing back. In the middle of the second period, UVSE went ahead for the first time (5:4). Eger leveled the score – 5:5. Still, UVSE had a 2-goal advantage (7:5) at halftime. The visitors went 8:5 up midway through the third quarter. Eger managed to cut the deficit before the final quarter (7:8). However, UVSE dominated the final quarter

The encounter between KSI and Miskolc has been canceled. Bulcsu Szekely, KSI president, told in an interview with Vlv.hu, that his team had withdrawn due to some players had tested positive for COVID-19. All players underwent testing on Friday. But it was clear the results of the tests wouldn’t arrive before the match (which was scheduled for 11 AM). Therefore, KSI decided to give up the game, aware that the calendar is fully-packed and that it won’t be easy to re-schedule the match. Szekely said that the stakeholders had thanked KSI for this attitude. The match hasn’t been registered officially, but a 5:0 win will be awarded to Miskolc.
