Three games were played on the second day of the “Vidra Cup” in Valjevo. Today, the most successful team was Crvena Zvezda, which achieved two wins.

Crvena Zvezda beat Sabac in the morning session. The Belgrade-based team opened the game well. It led 4:1 at halftime. The “Red-whites” stretched the margin to four in a nine-goal third quarter (9:5), so Sabac couldn’t come back. Crvena Zvezda won 9:7.
In the evening session, Crvena Zvezda faced Szentes, which started the tournament today. The Hungarians took an excellent start. They had a 5:2 advantage after the first eight minutes. At the middle break, they were still in front (8:7). But, Crvena Zvezda, led by Gavril Subotic, was outstanding in the second half,, scoring 12 and conceding only two goals for a 19:10 victory.
Host Valis and Miskolc met in the third encounter of the day. The home team dictated the pace until the middle break (4:2). However, the Hungarians took control in the second half and recorded a 10:7 win. Miskoc’s best scorer, just like in yesterday’s victory over Crvena Zvezda, was Stefan Porobic, who played for Valis last season. The Montenegrin netted three goals.
