Reigning champion Waspo Hannover and OSC Potsdam qualified for the semifinals of the 100th edition of the German League. It’s most likely that Spandau 04 and ASC Duisburg will join them in the last four.

The second tournaments of the preliminary phase of the national championship were held last week. Waspo and OSC mathematically secured their spots in the group for the title. Spandau 04 and ASC Duisburg will probably advance to the last four after the remaining six games (that have been postponed) will be played.

The points of the mutual encounters between the teams that played in the same group will be carried to the group for the title (Group E). Each team will play four games in Group E, which starts in May, and after that, the semifinals of the playoffs will be held.

The 3rd-placed and 4th-placed teams in groups A and B will play for the classification 5th-12th, along with the teams from groups C and D, that haven’t been finished yet.

However, the point was enough for OSC to secure a spot in the group for the title because it defeated Ludwigsburg at the first tournament (16:7).
