The closest result of the day was separated by merely one goal, five seconds from time by Nikolett Kele, who gave BVSE a significant first victory of the season against Eger. The game was close throughout, with neither side really pulling away from each other. BVSE were always ahead in the match, and looked to have made the breakthrough two minutes into the last quarter as they took a 12-9 lead through Alexa Gemes Anett (who scored five in the game). But full credit to Eger, who refused to roll over, and fought their way back into the game, but ultimately the side from Budapest took home the points.
