Italy defeated the Netherlands – 7:4.
Tomorrow, on the last day of the Group stage, Russia will play against Canada, while the USA will face Italy. The Dutch have a day off.
On Saturday, the 1st-placed and the 2nd-placed will play in the final game, while the 3rd-placed and the 4th-placed team will meet in the bronze medal match.

Italy earned its second win at the Holiday Cup (after beating Russia in penalty shootout). The Netherlands entered the match without a few key players (Maud Megens, Catharina van der Sloot). Italy built a 3-goal advantage by the middle break – 4:1. In the second half, the distance between the sides was never smaller than two goals. Deep into the fourth quarter, Italy earned a 4-goal lead (7:3) to confirm the win.

Team USA showed no mercy to Canada. The Americans dominated for three quarters. In the middle of the third period, they already had a 12:1 advantage. In the remaining time, Team USA maintained an 11-goal distance.
The Americans reached the final as they secured at least 2nd place in the Group.
If Italy defeats the USA on Day 5, the Italians will play against the hosts in the final. If Italians don’t win tomorrow, the USA and the Netherlands will clash in the game for the trophy.
