The first two tournaments of the 2nd Nordic League have been finished today. LSTW Lodz (Poland) clinched the first place in Group A in Stockholm, while VMSC- Baltic Amadeus dominated Group B in Vilnius. Both teams, which are newcomers in the competitions, have a perfect record. LSTW recorded three wins in as many games. VMSC-Baltic Amadeus, the host of Group B, collected 12 points in four games.
The League will be continued in a month and a half. The second tournament of Group A will be played in Lodz, while Turku will host the teams that are competing in Group B (6 – 8 December). The best three teams of each group will advance to the Final Six which will be held in Stockholm (7-9 February).

LSTW Lodz secured the 1st place yesterday, by beating Swedish clubs Jarfalla (10:9) and SPIF (14:12). Today, the Polish team confirmed the 1st place with an easy win over Kuhat Academy (Finland) – 18:7.
Jarfalla defeated SKIF in the Swedish derby to take the 2nd place in the group. SKIF trailed just 9:10 in the last minute of the 3rd period. However, Jarfalla, the reigning champion, scored four unanswered goals for a fine 14:10 win.

Home team VMSC-Baltic Amadeus was too strong for all rivals at the tournament in Vilnius. The Lithuanians trashed two Finnish clubs on the last competition day – Turun Uimarit (16:4) and Cetus (17:6).
Hellas SK from Stockholm won cemented the 2nd place, as it beat Cetus by 10 goals today (19:9).
The best of the three Finnish clubs which took part in Group B was Turun Uimarit.
