He previously served as the chief of staff to IAAF President Sebastian Coe, has been removed from the governing body of athletics. This action was taken after he confessed to accepting payments in exchange for assisting in the concealment of Russian doping activities and subsequently providing misleading information during the ethics investigation into the matter.
