Olympiacos have completed the signing of Aussie Stinger, Abby Andrews.
The 23-year-old left-hander is returning to play Europe after the Paris Olympic Games, having played for Italian side SIS Roma in the 2022-2023 season.
Andrews, who has been a leading member of the Aussie Stingers since her appearance at the Tokyo Olympic Games (the third youngest in Australian water polo history), began her career with Queensland Thunder. She then made the leap to collegiate water polo with Michigan in the USA, before playing the 2022-23 season in Italy with SIS Roma.
Prior to the forthcoming Olympic Games, Andrews and many of her teammates returned to Australia to prepare with the national team. In the meanwhile, she has player for the Brisbane Vikings.
Olympiacos, who won their 11th consecutive title this season, have renewed the contracts of many of their senior players such as Margarita and Vasiliki Plevritou, Stefania Santa and Christina Siouti.
