Adam Krikorian, the head coach of the United States women’s national water polo team, is the most successful coach in the history of the sport. Under his leadership, the U.S. has established one of the most dominant and enduring legacies in international water polo.
This year, Krikorian secured his sixth World Championship title, though narrowly missed out on what would have been his fourth Olympic medal. Having already achieved so much for women’s water polo, there’s no doubt he will continue to innovate and surprise us in the years to come.
He has been a part of our jury since the very first women’s edition in 2018, and we are deeply grateful for his constant support and openness in contributing to our award process.
