Primorac is set to enter the second half of the season with renewed strength, thanks to the addition of two excellent players who are arriving from Belgrade-based teams.

Marko Petkovic (36) was born in Belgrade and started his career at VK Beograd. While playing for Jadran Herceg Novi several years ago, he was granted Montenegrin citizenship. Petkovic represented Montenegro between 2017 and 2022, winning the bronze medal at the 2020 European Championships and gold medals in the World League in 2018 and 2021. He retired from the national team after the 2022 World Championships, where he served as the team's captain.
He also won one World League gold with Serbia in 2011 and the 2014 Champions League with Barceloneta.
Petkovic has played for Beograd, Galatasaray, Budva, Barceloneta, Radnicki, Miskolc, Jadran Herceg Novi, Strasbourg, and Crvena Zvezda. This summer, he was one of the most significant reinforcements to Crvena Zvezda's roster. However, the club is in crisis. Petkovic is one of the many players who have left Red Whites in the last few months after Dusan Vasic, Kristijan Sulc, Stefan Pjesivac (the three joined Novi Beograd), and Nikola Nikolov.
