Zagreb to host both World U16 Championships in 2026

The next World U16 Championships, both for girls and for boys, will take place in Zagreb next summer.

The women’s tournament will be held between July 25 and 31, while the male teams will battle for medals from August 3 to 9.

Zagreb has hosted numerous major water polo competitions. This year, the World Men’s U20 Championship was organized in the capital of Croatia. In the winter of 2024, the pools in Zagreb and Dubrovnik were the venues of the European Men’s Championships.
