For the first time, the Final Four tournaments of the menβs and womenβs Champions League will be held in the same venue simultaneously.
The European Aquatics and the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta have agreed that the final tournaments will take place from June 10 to 13 atΒ the Maltese National Swimming Tar-Qrodd Complex.
The menβs F4 will take place in Malta for the third year in a row. The agreement to add the womenβs Final Four was only approved last weekend., European Aquatics announced. EA First Vice-President Josip Varvodic was on site in Malta to sign the contract with the Minister for Education, Sport and Youth of Malta, Clifton Grima, and the President of the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta, Karl Izzo.
The four-day tournament will start on June 10 with womenβs semifinals. The semifinal games of the menβs Champions League will be played on June 11. The womenβs final and the bronze medal game are scheduled for June 12, and the medal matches for male teams will take place on Β June 13.
