Three teams-Vitoria, Fluval and Parades- are unbeaten after the 2nd round of the Portuguese championship
Reigning champion Vitoria Guimaraes kept the 1st place after an away win over Sporting 16:10. Vitoria was 11:2 up at halftime, while it let the hosts come close before the last quarter (11:6). But, the Guimaraes-based side controlled everything in the last quarter for a 16:10 win.
Fluval, led by Tiago Paraty (7 goals) ran over Academica – 29:4.
Parades defeated CN Povoense. After the second quarter, Parades had a 4-goal lead (8:4) which proved vital in their win (12:9).
After a hard-fought battle, Alges overcame Pacense 13:11.
Cascais recorded the first win, by beating Aminata 24:9.
