Reigning champion Jug suffered its first loss in this seasonβs Regional League.
Jadran Split defeated Jug 9:7 in the 14th round. But, the match had no importance, since Jug secured 1st place before the last round, while Jadran couldnβt move from the last place.

Jug opened the match in Split with a 2:0 lead and had a 4:2 advantage 96 seconds before the middle break. But, Jadran Split took control at the finish of the 2nd quarter. The hosts equalized by the end of the first half, while they earned a 6:4 lead early in the third. Jug managed to level the score at 6:6 (22nd minute), but Jadran entered the last eight minutes with a slim 8:7 lead and doubled an advantage for a 9:7 lead in the middle of the fourth quarter.
Mladost and Jadran Herceg Novi didnβt waste unnecessary calories in their encounter in Zagreb, because this match also wasnβt important for the ranking. Besides, Mladost and Jadran HN will face off again in the semifinals of the Final Four, that will be played in Dubrovnik (April 3rd β 4th). Today’s match was a “warming up” for the crucial games.Both teams had a lot of ups and downs in this game. In the end, Mladost celebrated a narrow 12:11 victory.

The 13th round was played in the relegation group. Budva defeated Sabac in Serbia and secured itself a spot in the A1 Regional League next season.
The 14th round will decide which team will play in the play-out and which one will be relegated. Primorac will host last-placed Partizan in the last round (March 7th), while Mornar will play against Sabac in Split.
