Croatia defeated Montenegro 9:8 in a friendly game played in Zagreb this evening.
The two teams started three-day joint preparations on Monday, and the last training will be held tomorrow

Both teams were rejuvenated. Croatia played without Josip Vrlic, Hrvoje Benic, Luka Bukic, Rino Buric. Montenegro arrived in Zagreb without Aleksandar Ivovic, Drasko Brguljan, Uros Cuckovic, Dejan Lazovic, Bogdan Djurdjic, Aleksa Ukropina.
However, it was an interesting match. Croatia started better and had a 2:1 advantage after the first period, but the visitors earned a 3:2 advantage in the middle of the second quarter and had 5:4 at halftime.
Croatia retained a lead with two early goals in the third period (6:5). After that, Montenegro was chasing Croatia unil the end. The visitors equalized three times (6:6, 7:7, 8:8). Still, Croatia secured a 9:8 victory 48 seconds before the end when Zovic converted a man-up.
