The first game of the final has been played in Barcelona. Title-holder Barceloneta continued its winning streak in the national competitions beating Barcelona 11:7.

Barcelona scored an opening goal in the final. Marc Valls converted a penalty for 0:1 in the 4th minute. But, Barceloneta equalized quickly and built a 2-goal advantage by the end of the first period (4:2). In the third period, the hosts went to 6:2. After that, Barcelona couldn’t endanger the champion’s victory. The visitors halved the distance (6:8), but Barceloneta netted two unanswered goals in the third period for an 8:4 advantage. Barceloneta even had a 5-goal lead in the fourth period (9:4, 10:5, 11:6).
Alberto Munarriz was the best scorer with three goals.
