VK Vojvodina continue to dominate the women’s game in Serbia as they once again secured a domestic double, repeating a feat they achieved last season. They saw off Crvena Zvezda 2-0 in the best of three play-off series to claim the Serbian title, having already beaten Crvena zvezda in the Cup final in December of last year (18-11).
While the first match of the league play-off was something of a one sided-affair with Vojvodina taking a 5 goal lead during the first period, Crvena zvezda played a far better game in the second play-off match – pushing Vojvodina all the way to a hard-earnt 11-12 victory.
